Why was the Kingdom of God taken away from the chief priests and Pharisees? The kingdom of God was taken away from the Pharisees because like the farmers' parable, they rejected and keep rejecting Jesus. The Pharisees are also likened to the carpenters who reject the stone which was to be made the corner foundation of the building.

Why was the Kingdom of God taken away from the chief priests and Pharisees? The Kingdom of God was taken away from them because they stumble others who come to God with their "laws" and their corruption. The Temple of God was turned into den of thieves
