5333 entries for this category: I really can't imagine that even Jesus is the son of God , during His life in Nazareth,He was then living as an ordinary person, wearing simple garment and sandals on His feet, and even going to school with other children in the place. It shows what Jesus wants us, to be humble always..... The only thing that surprises me, Mary and Joseph have other children!!Jesus has brothers and sisters? where are they??? What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?

Why did Jesus answer a question with a question, rather than just telling the Pharisees by what authority He acted? Jesus did not want to give the Pharisees a sure answer because He knew that they were testing Him and were playing safe with their reply "We don't know" to his question.

Why did Jesus answer a question with a question, rather than just telling the Pharisees by what authority He acted? Jesus answered the question with a question because He knows that the chief priests were wise enough in finding faults to send him to prison. Jesus wants them to realize how trickery they are when He answered them through a question. In this manner, Jesus knew already what these priests have at the back of their minds. And we found that Jesus is the wisest of them all.
