Jesus foresaw that his burial was soon. Why was Mary`s annointing so meaningful to Jesus? It was so because He knew His time to fulfill God's mission for Him to die on the cross for our salvation was coming near and it helped Him be prepared and be ready for it. As He said, the poor will always be around us but Him, our Lord, the Son of God, is to return to The Father, after going thru so much pain and sacrifices. He deserved all the praises, the attention and annointing and glorifying!
