How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love. Forgiveness is the final strand of love. Just like what God shows us, He loves us so much "...that He gave his only Son..." for the forgiveness of our sins. Jesus is calling us to ask anything in His name, and He's going to give it. So, if we ask forgiveness of our sins in Jesus name, God is faithful and just to forgive us. Once forgiven, we have the access to know more about God. The deeper we know Him, the more we learn to love Him.
