Why did Jesus speak to the people in parables, rather than just stating things directly? As spoken by the prophets,Jesus will choose to speak to them in parables so that they will think of what was being said. Good news of the Kingdom are spoken in parables so that those who hear it will think and believe by faith not not just seing-facts.

What does the darnel seed represent and how is this darnel weed sown? This darnel seed represents the evil. It can be in the form of attitudes, thoughts, feelings etc. Once we slide back or fall, the satan will come and take this opportunity to destroy us. Evil thought leads to bad action.
