Why was the crowd so intent on having Jesus crucified? The mob (Jews) were intent on crucifying Jesus because they felt He blasphemed against Caesar who currently ruled Judea then. The Jews regarded Caesar as King and anyone claiming to be another king therefore was against the law for treason. The Jews' loyalty were misplaced at that time.

Why was the crowd so intent on having Jesus crucified? Bec. there is a spiritual blindness during that time and the chieft Priest of the Phareses is the one leading this arrest and very determine to crucify Jesus. The crowd which was loyal to the law of the priest.
