What did Pilate perceive about Jesus that made him so reluctant to have Jesus executed? Pilate perceived Jesus to be a leader (king) but was afraid to acknowledge Him so. Pilate took the easier way out, which was to deliver Jesus' fate to his fellow Jews. This way, Pilate could claim he did not have anything to do with whatever outcome befell Jesus.

Why do you think Peter denied Jesus? Peter denied Jesus maybe because he was afraid of the outcome if he admit it since Jesus was already in the custody of the soldiers
