This was cleary shown is some of the characters in the Old Testament such as Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses and so on. They obey what God commanded them to do even it sounded ridiculous to them. They reap from their obedience and became fruitful. Therefore, to be closer to Jesus, start obeying God. I would definely want to hear the story of His life from heaven to earth. I always believe that Jesus is the best "story-teller". We human relates best when someone shares his life story. Therefore I strongly believe that His life is my road to discipleship. Jesus is the light, and if we believe in Him, follow and obey Him, then we are the children of the light. How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him?" a "New" commandment?
