jesus meant eternal life. Even in one dies, he shall have everlasting life with Jesus Christ in the afterlife.

Jesus wept even if He knew He would raise Lazarus because of the lack of faith of Mary and the others.

IT IS ALSO KNOWN FROM THE SCRIPTURES THAT THE SON OF GOD WILL BE RISEN FROM THE DEAD IN 3 DAYS. JESUS DELAYED GOING TO SEE LAZARUS, HE WANT GOD TO BE GLORIFIED THAT IN 3 DAYS OF LAZARUS DEATH HE WILL BE RISEN AS JESUS WILL BE BE RISEN BY THE FATHER GOD. AND ALL THAT WAS WRITTEN IN THE SCRIPTURESWILL BE FULFILLED.

Why did Jesus delay for two days before going to see Lazarus?

Jesus delayed going to Lazarus so that word may spread among he people about Lazarus's death. In this way, more people would know and witness Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead and believe in the power of God. Jesus himself said that the purpose of Lazarus's death was for the "glory of God" - meaning, so that He could showcase Lazarus as an example of the almighty power of God.
