What was in Jesus` heart that made him weep as he looked down on Jerusalem?

Showing his compassion for the guilty city, and his strong sense of the evils that were about to come upon it.

Jerusalem, that had been the holy city, and the joy of the whole earth, if it be degenerated

Jerusalem is the city in which He must be betrayed and bound, scourged and spit upon, condemned and crucified?

What skills or treasures do you have (or see) buried that could be invested for greater good?

The gift of gab. If you use it wisely to evangelize and spread the gospel, then it is a treasure that can be utilized for the good and the kingdom of God. Being inactive and timid and lazy like the servant who just buried the mina or his talents will displease God because you are squadering and laying to waste what could be a potentially great treasure.

Seek first His kingdom; seek first to be righteous, and to become interested in His favor, and all necessary things will be added to us. He has control over all things, and He can give us what we need. He will give us what he deems best for us. The heart, or affections, will of course be fixed on the treasure. To regulate the heart, it is therefore important that the treasure, or object of attachment, should be right. We should take care to do good in our life-time, and make this the business of our lives. We are really doing our duty to God when we are faithful in our duty to men.
