But as I go deeper, through Prayer and the guidance of the Holy spirit, Jesus is revealing the meaning of his word in the Bible. But if your faith is little you can never understand a thing in the scripture you must open your mind and heart and have a teachable heart. What have you heard now (from or about Jesus) , that you may not understand until later? Jesus assured them (His disciples) that what they feared would come to pass, but he had, in some measure, prepared their minds for this state of suffering by the promises which he had made to them. In all their sufferings they might be assured that eternal rewards were before them.Those who foretold the coming of the Messiah, and whose predictions are recorded in the Old Testament. Son of Man - The Messiah. They predicted that certain things would take place respecting the Messiah that was to come. See theDan.9:25-27 notes; Isa. 53 notes. “These things,” Jesus said, would be accomplished “in him,” he being the Son of man, or the Messiah.
