What disturbs me is that the rich man and his brothers do not believe and will only do so when someone from the dead comes back to tell them. It is so like all the unbelievers that need to be shown a miracle or something from the ordinary to believe. Jesus' disciples (some on them) refused to believe that He had risen from the dead until He showed Himself and showed his nail scarred hands and feet to prove that it was indeed Him, the Messiah and not just a trick. Many of the people in the world today have that attitude, and that saddens and disturbs me.

That the righteous are taken to a place of happiness immediately at death, and the wicked consigned at once to misery.That wealth does not secure from death The rich, the beautiful, the happy, as well as the poor, go down to the grave. There is a place of sufferings beyond the grave a hell; God offers us heaven, and he threatens hell. Only in our life we can do our salvation received blessing’s God become His good child obeying His commandment and doing everything that He wants.
