5333 entries for this category: I, think Jesus has to go to physical and emotional pain in order for him to feel or experience the degrees of sins of humans. He has to undergo our own worldly struggles in order for Him to understand us because He suffered the same pain. God so loved the world that He gave Jesus a sacrifice to forgive us from our sins. He let Him experience what trully going on human life that most people tend to sin, He has to passed this physical and emotional pain. To understand us better and being obedient and compasionate Jesus died for us. The two great things which the Spirit of Christ in the Old Testament prophets testified beforehand were the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow, (1 Pe.1:11). And that which Christ himself, when he expounded Moses and all the prophets, showed to be the drift and scope of them all was that Christ ought to suffer and then to enter into his glory,(Luk,24:26-27). Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God? It was God's plan for our redemption. As Jesus was sent to us to live with us, He was fully human and was fully God, too. He has to endure physical and emotional and spiritual separation from God because He bear all our sins, it's the same thing with us everytime we sins.
