5333 entries for this category: Having been forgiven increases our love for God in such a way that our spirits are lifted up knowing that God's faithfulness to His words is being manifested. Being forgiven gives us a chance to bring back God's glory by earnestly forgiving those who have offended us and also accept forgiveness from those we have offended. God has set a heavenly example of forgiveness through His Son Jesus Christ (Acts 13:38), so that we in turn will commit ourselves to follow that example by trying hard to soften our hardened hearts. How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love.

Why did Jesus ask his followers to pray for laborers instead of praying for a greater harvest? harvest mean people who are not saved yet;and still live in sinful life whereas laborers mean people who have been saved and been follower of jesus.therefore god want his follower to bring them into true christian life

Why did Jesus ask his followers to pray for laborers instead of praying for a greater harvest? Because the harvest here are the multitudes of souls of men who needed saving, and it was indeed great, but the believers who would sow the Word were few, and Jesus needed more believers to help Him spread the Gospel in order to save more souls. So He prayed for more followers to assist Him.
