Jesus took careful time to explain all things about his death and resurrection. Does this give you confidence in his words and promises, knowing he and others had predicted his death and resurrection? "Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself."

yes, all these predicted thousands of years ago by the prophets....therefore, it is true that God came to earth in the flesh of Lord Jesus Christ to save us sinners.

Oh yes I have always believed in God, His words, His promises. And I believe Jesus is the Son of God who was sent down to earth by God our Creator to save us from sins, that He is our Salvation who died for us and has risen from the dead also for us, to fulfill the scriptures. And He will come again as He has promised to give us a new life, a new heaven.

Why were fulfillment of prophecies important? "note: Jesus predicted his death and resurrection? "...saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again...". There are also many accounts in the old testament describing the death and resurrection of the Messiah hundreds to thousands of years before the event.

For us to be save from sins.
