Compassion means to me that "sacrifice some thing to some one" in this "thing" could be time, labor, materials, capital loan, capital asets/vehicles, knowledge, specific skills, helping in advocacy for some one,  food or any thing...etc that you have and other people they don't have. but these above are just to support us as a tempporary things for being survival in the earth.

 I could see that Jesus Christ started his compassion from a small one as healing some sick people (headache, brinds, cancer and the death) to the highest compassion such He sacrifice his life for us for all human, any one in the earth.

I could see that as human being many Christians have no compassion and we are.
