Jesus felt very deep compassion for the widow whose son had died. That is why He raised him up from the dead and gave him back to his mother.

What do you find astonishing about this centurion (leader of Roman soldiers)?

I find it astonishing that this centurion, who is a non Christian, had faith in Jesus, and humbled himself before Jesus even if he held a position of authority himself.

Jesus the Son of the Heavenly Father

We have a Heavenly Father who loves us so much that He sent His only Son to save us from sin.

Jesus is really and truly the son of the Heavenly Father.

Jesus saves us from the sin of the world.

Jesus left us with so many words of wisdom that we need to obey in order to enter the kingdom of our Heavenly Father.

We need only to follow what Jesus has instructed us to do and He will be with us in heaven.

Jesus suffers a lot to save us. No mortal person can do what Jesus our savior has done for us.

Jesus is a loving Son to His Heavenly Father, for He suffers without complaints.

That Jesus is still with us. We only have to call on Him.

Jesus performed a lot of miracles not because He wanted to be popular but because He wanted to send the message of the Heavenly Father.
