How much do you think Jesus felt the emotional pain of those around him?

jesus not only the emotional pain of all those around him, he even felt their physical pain and knew all the pains of those on earth be them around him or far, and all those who were judged for eternal damnation.this feeling of the pain people suffered and that were bound to suffer upon their death was the reason why he was on earth , to teach them to repent and turn away from sin which is at the root of all pain and misery on earth

What do you find astonishing about this centurion (leader of Roman soldiers)?

the centurion first of all humbles himself to jesus, he recognises that although he has authority over his soldiers , jesus has authority over him and everything else, all even a centurion.he shows great faith in not only jesus , the man in front of him but also the devine power that is guiding jesus.he recognises that jesus is doing the will of something , someone mighter than they have ever seen.

How does Jesus describe the person who calls him Lord but doesn`t do what he says?

the person who calls him lord and yet doesnt do what he sais is like a man who builds his house without fortified foundation , and thus when in the face of any temptation would easily be drifted away from jesus and be lost, and his ruin is sure, for when someone is away from God he would be in the lap of satan.
