How do you think Peter felt after his discussion with Jesus?

Peter knew that his answers to Jesus' question was not satisfactory. That's why Jesus kept on repeating the questions with different vocabularies. Jesus was asking for Peter's total devotion to the works of the Lord. He wanted Peter to love God above all things and continue with the works of God, that is, preaching God's words among people throughout his life. Peter understood that Jesus expected even more than what Peter thought. Peter must have thought of doing both fisherman job and work of God simultaneously. But the Lord's intension was different.

Why do you think Jesus chose to appear to the disciples in this way?

The disciples are very inocent they were trade Jesus wanted disciples to filled with wonder and glorifing God that the matter Jesus chose to appear to disciples in this way.
