Why does Jesus tell the growing crowd that one must be willing to renounce everything, including one`s own life, to be Jesus` follower?

It means that if we want to be followers of Jesus, our family ties must be secondary. It means that absolute loyality to Christ is very important. and also that a disiciple must live in constant readiness to put their life for the purpose to serve Christ the Lord.

First you must repent your sins and come to salvation then renounce everything and take your own cross and go show sympathize those are in sick,widows,oldage ,orphans people, prisoners, unbelivers .give gospel message bring to salvation and pray for them. if those are not come to salvation tey are just like testless salt it throut that means they can not becoming disciples.

the host respond when people reject his dinner invitation the master of the house said to servents go out quickly into the street and lanes of the city and bring in here the poor and the maimed and the lame and blind. Jesus said Blessed is he who shall eat bread in the Kingdom of God
