What do you learn about Jesus, asking one of the most disliked men in town to become his follower?

I learned about Jesus came for sinners to make them repant from sins and turned them to GOD. Jesus asking one of the most men in town to become his follower i have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.Those who are well have no need of a physician but those who are sick need physician.

Jesus came to save the sinners, to make them repent from their sins and turn them to God. That is why it is said that the healthy person does not need a doctor but a sick person needs a doctor.
