How does Simon Peter feel about himself, and how does Jesus change that?

simon had worked all night and couldnt catch any fish, when Jesus commanded him to cast the net again, he was able to catch fish so much that the boat was about to sink. He therefore felt that he is a sinful man, that could be the reason he couldnt catch any. Jesus comforted him saying, "dont be afraid, from now onwards you will be catching people alive".

Why didn`t Jesus spend more time healing people?

Jesus didnt spend more time healing people because the news of jesus' miracles spread like wild fire throughout the country and jesus didnt find time to rest even. Bescides this, Jesus knew that there was very little time left for him to preach the words of God. He had to complete the work which the father in heaven wanted him to do.
