Was Jesus trying to incite his death (eg. temple cleansing, accusation of leaders?)

Absolutely not! Because since the world began our Almighty God had plan before us. Jesus is a perfect plan to all of us mankind, with him, in him is the eternal link to the Father. Jesus is the perfect and ultimate plan of our Father in heaven who proved to us his everlasting love and forgiveness. Jesus death and resurrection was his final touch on his plan that he builds-up temple on our hearts and mind that we carry forever and ever amen.

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss?

I would discuss on how to achieve his promise to have an iternal life and show me the way how to obtain it so that I could share to my brothers and sisters on earth that the promise of our Lord Jesus Christ is about to happen/fulfill to each mankind. This is about a spiritual meal that our Lord Jesus provide to all of us to eat in achieving his iternal life.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?

Yes, jesus beleives that lowly people are valuable, most of them don`t have things to be called as their own possessions or reaches, only a good heart, kindness, and thier willingness to help, and if they give they give all...even it is the only thing they had...like the widow who gave all what she has out of poverty, just to please God...and Jesus loves these kind of people because they are easy to call to serve God, unlike rich people who cannot give all of their time serving God because they spending too much of thier time doing things to become more powerfull and famous...
