Jesus added this new commandment along with His 2 greatest commandments, that loving one another gives someone a sense of belonging. That Jesus Himself gave example for us to follow yet we sometimes fail to do it, that's why He added this to remind us that we should not forget our responsibility as His children as and as Christians. Fogiving our enemy with all heart is likely loving him and for this we give respect and love to God and to others, regardless of your character or nature that you may find difficult to forgive.

Why does Jesus call "Love One Another" a "New" commandment? I believe Jesus call " Love One Another" a "New" commandment because we sometimes find it hard to love our enemies or to forgive them for whatever wrongdoing they made to us.If God forgive our sins we should do the same to others who hurt us because our actions is a reflection of our love to God.

How does being forgiven increase ones love for God? Note: According to Jesus, God`s forgiveness is motivated by love. When one has been forgiven, the feeling of being loved and freed from such sins or mistakes will stay in ones heart,the feeling of being happy and the spirit lives in you. That believing that you are forgiven by God, you increase the faith that truly He is the God of love.Forgiving someone comprises love, yet it is true that it is difficult to forget such acts, but when you put your heart in forgiving therefore you have forgotten all the acts made,and the process of healing the wound that had been made will be easier. As what the saying goes, God forgives those whose ask, how much more do we, humans?
