If he is truly a righteousman, he would do to help, the lawyer knows the right and wrong, the good and bad rules and he is following the good rules, if he saw a man laying down on the street he has a rigth to help for he knows the compassion of a helpless.

Was Jesus prayer about bringing heaven to people on earth, or about bringing people on earth to heaven?

Jesus teach the people in prayer to bring the people on earth up to heaven, by praying alone or two or three gathering in prayer are the best method talking directly to god, asking for mercy or forgiveness, adore him for he is a devine God, thanks him for giving us grace and healthy life, and telling him for we deserves in life his goodness and careness, helpful and loving god.
