What did you learn about Jesus` background that stands out or surprises you?

It surprised me that pharisees were considered a "people´s party" and saducees a "conservative party". I have neve thought about them in the political context.

Jesus, the Son of Man and God, has influenced millons of people including me. He is still teaching us how to love our God, our neighbours (including our enemies), how to forgive ourselves and the others, how to share, how to help and how to invite Heavenly Kingdom even here and now when we are still living on Earth. He shows us what brings us Peace and emphasises the importance of it. His mother Mary is a great helper in this uneasy process.

Popularity/Fame: How has Jesus helped you

He is my elder, more experienced, wiser, braver and overall better brother whom I, his younger, stupider, more cowardly and overall worse sister love and if I obey him, my life is better than if I do not.
