honestly

I couldn`t answer this question. I agree with the one who said that the emphasis was my addition on the battling of the evil spirits and the fact that the Kingdom was the spiritual one and that he Jewish wasn`t trying to overturn the romans. More reflections came after reading the whole Gospel. In my journal. Also i was struck by the empahsis on deeds miracles. Isn`t the Roman way of teaching very much based on exampla? Jeswis being more `academic` evolving around concepts and ideas. So parables to the essential.

Cause he is the man whom God assigned the task of giving Jesus recognition on the part of humankind? also it`s a way of introducing the teaching on the purity of the soul - the idea of cleansiness - of the body-of the soul. They are the liberation from sin that comes jointly with the fullfillment of the Law with Jesus Law of Love. He has come to bring salvation from sins - the cross - but that won`t be known until later. And the possibility of understanding which is the right path and following it. Becoming part of the family by becoming his disciples, welcoming the Word and becoming inheritors of the Kingdom of the Father.
