Why is religious hypocrisy so offensive to Jesus?

As it says in John 7 or the end of 6, if they have no love the Law is dead. It is legalistic adhering to prescriptive norms but they are blind to the flock's needs. If a sheep is in danger on the Sabbath or a man needs healing, will you leave them to their destiny cause it is the Sabbath? NO. They lack the wisdom of the heart differently from King Salomon. And they place themsleves on the throne of nselfrightoeusness instead of humbling bringing healing. Moving like shadows through the crowds, the priest's dark attire?, makes the Light shine even brighter.In John 6 it says that they did not know where the son of God hard to come. False as it was prophetised that the King would be of humble descent. Not from a publicly importamt family but from 'a' humble faithful devout Jewish maiden who had treasured the words treasured by her unknown devout Jews relatives in her heart.And traesured by Joseph who did not have her risk being stoned to death as an alleged adulteress the Law would have called it to be the 'right' action. Well before Jesus wrote those silent words of Divine Mercy in the sand engraving them in the onlookers hearts.

Why did Jesus tell the rich man to sell all his possessions before coming to follow Him?

Because they are a burden for the soul if not godly used and shared. If we are overeliant on material goods. They risk feeding greed and the ego. Is Jesus inviting him to be a disciple and take the vow of poverty? Or is it a reminder of that moment when the Lord calls us? The young man puts the pearl of the Kingdom and his material goods on the scale of his heart, and his greed blinds the scale to the true value of the pearl.

Why is it OK with God to pay the one who worked all day the same amount paid to the one who worked only an hour?

Jesus has prepared a room for everyone and though we may need some Purgatory before being worth of the beatific vision of the Father, if that hour has been given full heartedly to Him, it is more worth that a whole not truly commited life. We have to love Him with all our hearts and souls and even a truly felt moment of contrition at the hour of our death can lift us up to Heaven.When He calls us, do we say yes?
