Since we have God`s promise of support, why do we still worry?

We are humans and think too much trying to control instead of trying to keep as straight as we can walking under the guidance of His lamp. We try to look to far aheada dn so we can only see darkness. But Jesus hand is alwyas there stretched out for us. Jesus on one side and mary on the other :)

Why is it that God is so upset with hypocrites? What makes hypocracy so wrong?

It's the hiding of the true intentions and actions pretending to be walking in His foosteps when you are not and to do so to keep your face with the other humans as what they think is more important than what God says. And sees so its also like having the pride to think that we can be,a nd are entitled to be, so good as to be able to trick him. Like obscuring the speed cameras or your number plate. the police may not catch you but nothing can obscure His Cameras which reach deep inside our hearts.

Why did Jesus instruct his followers to react passively when attacked?

Not to foment hatred and because that shows that in suffering injustice the Lord is with them. that prayerfully frozes the enemy and lights a bulb in their hearts. its a minor form of exorcism that is open to anyone who has strong faith. Storms shall not shake you.Today i was challenged about my, in her words, rigidity on some specific teaching: what makes you so rigid? Thought when already out four nails and a sword in the heart (Jesus and his motehrs pierced heart to keep us safely rooted to that boat of salvation)
