Why did Jesus cause those who see to become blind?

So that their 'inner ears' are better tuned to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit? like blind Simeon and the healed blind man who recognised Jesus from the heart. WWho do you say i am? the Anointed. I did not say so the Father spoke to you.

How does a person abide in Jesus` word?

because my word finds no place in you...so in other words does not fall on receptive ground and cannot root properly allowing the proper growth of our souls. But that parable was clear enough...its a seed from heaven that wehn allowed to spring into life through the death of our self makes us part of that family that cuts genetic boundaries. Reject the word and you reject the potential to bond with teh Father to become one of His children. He will not give up trying to reconnect you though. Vine and branches...

In what ways does Jesus provide light to the world?

His words and actions if completely understood light the way like in daylight. Thats why we have Mother Church to preserve the lampshade clear and well plugged in our hearts.
