Jesus hands

It just struck me now in the reading during the Palm Sunday Mass: Jesus does not only rebukes the disciple by calling the others to put back their swords, but his hand - all the more stunningly than in the healing of the man affected by leprosy - immediately stretches out to heal the soldier`s bleeding ear. The last gesture before he is handcuffed by those soldiers who arrest him as a threat to the earthly kingdom. The same hand that before had joined in prayer in the darkest night of Jesus soul drawing strength from the Father Whose will he is about to accomplish. Isaac raising his hand on his son in obeyance to God and the Lord stopping him and making the stag appear instead. Here there is no substituting of the sacrificial lamb that will take our place on the cross...those very same hands offering themselves up to be nailed to the cross of the forgivness of our sins. Those very same hands...offering... Father in the prayers of the Faithful may we accept the fruits of Redemption of the Cross. A friend said: Jesus does not what us to be bent over as this poor woman was ''Lk 13:10-17'', but to be healed, especially in our hearts. If we allow Jesus to lay His Hand upon us, we too can be made straight. Stretching up with Love and Faith. Have a blessed Holy Week. :''

Matthew 9:27-34 Why is faith so important when we ask Jesus to do something for us?

Whilst browsing around doing my shopping, using my eyes to look for things and my voice to ask for what i needed, the answer came dumbfounding. We don`t need to see God with our physical eyes to believe He exists. Nor we need physical ears to hear His voice as we don`t need to even physically let alone clearly utter our prayers to be heard by Him. This is Faith. The Rock on which we stand from the true sicknesses that are the when asking for help for healing healing sicknesses of the soul. Then our tree can bring good fruit good deeds. The blind men in Matthew recognise the Lord. They haven`t seen any of his works, that God compassionately sent to the people as a proof for those who like Thomas needed it, and yet they recognise they know that he can heal them. Do you believe me says Jesus? yes we do they positively reply.And he heals them be done to you according to not my power but your faith Jesus says another time.

What types of people are suited to be laborers in the harvest for Jesus?

Hard working with a heart capable of feeling compassion and a good spiritual eye sight. No this is a gift of the Holy Spirit like any other quality or betterment of the vessel that God will make. Who said I did not choose the right ones but made so those whom i chose? looking at Job one can also add patient faithful endurance. But Matthew the taxgatherer? nothing is impossible to the Lord provide we are willing to put ourselves in His loving hands.
