Wouldnt say its` discouraging them but a warning that it`s not an easy path at all. Not even a purse just a stick. To be able to fully realy on God and leave your old life alltogether. Bury the dead - the dead can it be also a past life of sinfulness? always moviong on confessing our sins and burying them not carrying the burden. So that we are light and free like the birds trusting only in God. It`s a warning think well cause the road is narrow. Be yours a meditaed and thus a strenghtifyinmg on the way full yes.You feel Jesus waas really looking straight into their eyes.

In what ways does the physical healings performed by Jesus in the path parallel the spiritual healings he performs on people today? Its the power of the Eucharist. His touching her had it`s his body but he touches su at the very deep level whenevere we partake of His Word and His Blood and Body of His Sacrifice. There he is physically presnet and reaches to the core of us to our souls like the Word is engraved in our hertas like the Commendments when given to Moses where enf?graved on the stone tables ''thinking `breaking` the Commandments and building our house our souls and societies on those rocks those foundations''.

What was there about the centurian`s faith that so impressed Jesus? Used to be at the head of his troops he shows great humility in bending to Jesus power - bejond the flesh i mean the centurion must have been physically very strong and muscly - but incapable of helping his servant. He admits humbly and simply this to ask for aid for whom? not a superior who might have been of help to him in eartlthy struggle for power, but somebody below him a servant.
