How is gazing with lust like adultery?

It`s desiring somebody who is married to somebody else. It`s coveting what does not belong to you. Trying to possess them with the eyes. It could be a dangerous slippery path that if not controlled ''we can fall for somebody who is already married'' can take you down the wrong path. If you cannot set the boundaries - if you can`t ''not talking of those who can'' it`s not just a feeling of nostalgia for somebody but that might, i say might, lead somebody to take steps to draw toward himself herself somebody who is already of somebody else. Being in love is not a sin. It`s how we look at the other person. You can admire with chivalrous respect.

Why does Jesus speak so strongly against anger?

Beacuse anger blinds and may lead you to commit all sorts of very harmful acts agaisnt your neighbour. Whatever it is set up by. So also other roots envy etc etc should be cut off at the stem. Self control and a loving attidude Otherwise we run into a major breaking of the main law the Law of Love.

How does Jesus fulfill the law and the prophets?

By walking all the path till all the cup is drunk to the last drop. His last breath on the cross for us...no the Resurrection.In doing so showing utter obediuience to the Commandments of the Father in the utmost act of selfggiving and self sacrifice: Love the Father obey to Him. Love your neighbours. If one can give his life for the others...what do the other Commandments ask of us? Deus Caritas Est. We are made one again in crist. We are called to be living caritas too.
