For the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. People are sitting in drakness and confusion possibly tormented by the fear of having lost God`s grace but Jesus brings like a lightning through the dark clouds the Word of Hope. Calling to contrition in the loving arms of the Father. Like the hymn we sang today at Mass says when we are in anguish surrounded by the enemies we must rely on the faith that the we are not alone but surrounded by Grace that protects us. And like the other hymn said we can rejoice running in the open arms of the Father who is dying to welcome us back. Jesus is that Light that shows us the way home and is the way itself. Accepting our cross of darkness and sinfulness and follow him having Faith that with him and through him we`ll find the way back Home.

In what ways do followers of Jesus fish for men? What does this mean? They walk around the world proclaiming the Word announcing Salvation wide and far the `bait` that prayefully will attract those who hunger for salvation and thirst for His Word.

In what ways does Jesus still heal today? He heals through His Word and Body ministered by those he chose as his successors through the Holy Spirit. All those who come to ask for healing forgiveness freedom from the chains of sin that binds them.Some are saved by Faith of their friends. Here the emphasis is on those who bring to him the needy isn`t it?. Also in prayers. The sickness of the soul manisfests itself on the body: paralysis, blindness...and Jesus the Loving touch of the Father can heal everyone. Provided they believe enough. Your Faith saved you often says Jesus. Like the thief on the cross who earnestly and painfully shouts out asking for forgiveness and Jesus says today you`ll ascend with me to the Father.
