What are the works Jesus did that his followers do now because Jesus is with the Father?

Bringing the Word and healing all in the name of the Father. Bringing more lost sheep to the flock and how does it happen that the works they can do are even greater than Jesus himself? is it because they are called to found the Church and stretch Christ`s arms wherever in the world reaching out for every single corner. Fishing men everywhere and bringing everywhere the Ark of the Alliance and all this throughout the centuries the millennia. Jesus the historical flesh and blood Jesus acted in a confined area but through his death when the Holy Siprit sprouted forth from his bodily frame, it became part of every single disciple - with the Pentecost It descended on them - and then through them also of every single human they brought to him - and him in them - through the Eucharist.

What sort of place do you think Jesus is preparing for you?

It`s a room in God`s Abode but if we think of something too concrete I feel we get lost and don`t understand. How do you picture heaven? is he saying that he will reserve us a special cloud and a harp to sing to the Lord? I don`t know...ironical answer I am sorry but who has the answer. Has any Saint had any vision or is there any passage in John`s revelation..the Hill...the throne with Jesus and Mary and the Angels and the crwon of Saints sitting like in a rose as Dante said? but that is human imagination.

Why did Jesus invest so much in Peter even though He knew that Peter would deny Him?

Because he knows the strenght of his love and trust Faith. He is the only one who dared leaving the boat and walk on water. It is also a strong example for us all that encourages us. Like with Paul later on. God forgives always - double triple... 7 times 77. We must always have faith and get back on our feet holding Jesus hand. Life can be troubled and our legs shaky and our steps insecure but God is always there to guide us. All thsi he knew when peter looked straight into his eyes.
