How does the statement: The Guards Mock Jesus make you feel? Not that scared when you know about all the beating up the nailing to the cross etc- it`s the not the worst that he faced for us although the mocking of the Message - their scornful attitude common to too many should scare and pain us more.The best defense to the Message is Jesus non reaction. Turn the other cheek. The Law of Love against the law of violence and prepotence and sense of superirity of the earthly power. Only apparently Jesus is losing. His is the real victory. At the expense of the physical suffering. But the Crown is invaluable.
