984 entries for this category: Why does Jesus tell the growing crowd that one must be willing to renounce everything, including one`s own life, to be Jesus` follower? Because the Lord and His Commandments - given out of Love for our salvation - have to come first. You have to be willing to give the whole of yourself into His hands with full trust placing His Kingdom above everything else. If truly committed to that path you need to leave behind any other burden that slows down the pace or even worse that could prove to be an obstacle. Even blood family if they try to keep you away are to be left behind ''one prays that is able to bring them on the journey - thair souls are extremely precious and would do anything not to lose them''.

What do you value so much that if you lost it, you would do everything possible to find it? God`s Grace. Being at peace with Our Lord so that`s why the possibility of confession is such a precious gift that God gave us. Couldn`t live wehre I had no access to that box and hence I would despair If I could not have access to a Catholic church or a Father. Relating to which - what did the desert Fathers do relating to confession? Solitude with God is something precious that everyone should seek - so I also couldn`t bear losing the possibility of accessing the internal mountain of prayer - but that question remains.

That ... ...the Word will be brought to each single tribe each single branch of the family. !2 apostles 12 carriers of the message. Think I read somewhere that it also hints at the establishing of the parish sytem. Each apostle one share of the flock. If you love me you love the flock and so you will feed them said Jesus to Peter - Peter then hands over the command to the others. Makes me also think of the breaking of the Bread of Life ''Jesus'' for the Eucharist - each pastor with a portion ''which is the whole'' of the true Food the Body of Christ.
