Why is religious hypocrisy so offensive to Jesus?
Religious hypocrisy is so offensive to Him because it means, doing what is not from God and for God while hiding under God's cap.  Religious hypocrisy is those who are called to be His ministers, those most close to His mission, but instead deceive themselves and others since they are not truly ministers but acting to be ones.  Being religious is if you want to be great for God is by being the last on this earth.  Being the last does not mean being a failure, but being a servant and undergoing penance.  Some so-called servants start seeking privileges, because of the robes they wear that show they are of God, therefore exalting themselves.  That is religious hypocrisy which deviates to another direction that suits us and not God.

What is there about the Kingdom of Heaven that makes it worth forsaking everything else to obtain it?
There's eternity with Him, God, the Holy Trinity.  Because life on earth is only a moment in comparison to eternity in Heaven.  Life is a gift, like a seed, planted by God and watered by men; what do you do with it is your gift back to God, which shall obtain you justice in front of Him.  What there's about the Kingdom of Heaven is that He made it ours as well, if only now we make the decision of faith in abandonment, a decision from the heart that will outlast anything.

Why does the Father hide things from the wise and intelligent and reveal them to infants?
The Father is the Father of every human being; it's our choice of attitude that can change that.  Naturally there's nothing wrong with being intelligent, actually we need our minds to guide us and truly absorb His "things".  We cannot just pretend to be literally infants, and take things just like it is given to us.  The "things" of our Father must eventually make us grow, and as long as we grow wise in Him, that is the way to remain like an infant in His mighty Fatherly hands.
