In your own words, write down what the phrase "good news of God" means?

The Good News of God to me means that God has made Himself accessible so that we can come to Him, because sin separated us from God. Jesus came and said "When you have seen me, you have seen the Father".... and that is Good News, that we can draw near to Jesus and learn from Him, because He first drew near to us.

If Johns baptism was for repentance, then why do you think Jesus was baptized?

Jesus was not baptized as a sinner, because he had never sinned. However, he always led by example and by being baptized he was showing us the way.

Why did Jesus´ penalty for "sin" need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

jesus my saviour the price the penalty he paid had to be not only spiritual pain but physical because he did not get sent from the father in a spititual form but physical so for him to accomplish the work and for many to see it had to be shown on the outer body not the inside where commonly spiritual things happen. when jesus was left there you could see it was well. the prophesy had been fulfilled and a innocent man in a human form paid the price for the sins of us all he took up that burden because he loved us and wanted us to be close to the father. john 3:16 for god so loved the world that he gave his only beggotten son jesus christ to die for us so that whosoeva believeth in him shall not preish but have everlasting life. thank you father!!
