Given the scandals associated with the women Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and the wife of Uriah (Bathsheba), why do you think they were mentioned in the geneology of Jesus?

Despite the fact that they were associated with bad habits, these women did let in men of God in their lives. They accepted God to come into their houses, they gave Him audience, like Rahab the prostitute who risked her life for the children of Israel. They had scandals, but still they played a big role for the fulfilment of God's prophecy.

How do you think Peter felt after his discussion with Jesus?

Peter felt a sense of distruct after Jesus cautioned his love for Him several times. But still, he felt high above all the others, because he was standing soon in the place of Jesus to take the ministry forward.
