Why were the Jews so angry that Jesus claimed to exist before Abraham was born? The Jews were right in their ignorance because what Jesus was talking about was unbelievable in the ears of a human being who is accustomed to a short life of not so more than 100 years. Remember Jesus always spoke in parable and it had to be the revelation of the Holy Spirit for anyone to understand. These Jews were angry because they did not understand what the Lord was peaking of, so how could they believe it?
