In the Kingdom of God, one should do what the word says, not what he/she thinks that is right or otherwise. Suppose this lawyer, right after questioning Jesus, saw a man half dead in the road. What do you think this lawyer would do?

Why did Jesus say, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and announce the Kingdom of God"? Jesus meant that serving God's purpose should always come first. He was calling only those who would leave behind everything without a second glance, because working in the Kingdom of God requires them that do not consult from anybody, but God.

Jesus described his generation as "Faithless and perverse". How would Jesus describe your generation? He could describe it as being "Desparate and confused". We ask God and even give Him an ultimatum to work for us. As in, "Lord help me, and help me now, or, I will find some other means to do it".
