Hint: The vineyard (where grapes are grown) is Israel; The farmer is God; the servants are the prophets who were sent by God; the son is Jesus; and the tenants are religious leaders of the Jews. The tenants, who are the religious leaders have really done more than necessary to mislead the people. These religious leaders make it delibarate to hide the truth about Jesus and the Kingdom of God, because of their selfish interests. Jesus was trying to point it out that the Lord of the vineyard will not spare them, when the time comes.

Jesus was angered by religious people inappropriately taking people`s money (robber`s den). Why did Jesus take such dramatic action and not just condemn with words? Religious leaders were stealing in God's name, and in God's house. These people were so concerned with keeping the commandments of Moses, however they always turned around and did evil in the name of serving God.

What did the blind man acknowledge about Jesus by calling him the "Son of David."? Note: David was a great king of Israel. The "Messiah" was predicted to be a direct descendent of David, as Jesus was. I believe the blind man had heard the great works Jesus was doing throughout Israel. He knew that He was the great redeemer predicted earlier by the prophet Isiah, and would come from the house of David. There had been no miraculous works in Israel and Judea before, though graet prophets like Elijah, Elisha and Moses had done wonders.
