Jesus took three of his disciples to the top of a mountain to experience dead prophets now alive, and a voice from a cloud saying, "This is my beloved Son, listen to him." If you were one of the disciples, what impact would this experience have on you?
I w'd be more of a witness to Jesus because it was a voice that said, not one of the dead prophets. Note, even if it had been one of these dead people that had said it, it would have had a big impact on the disciples, because all that appeared to Jesus were once movers and shakers of nations, during the times they were doing God's work as prophets. I w'd have believed that Jesus is the true Messiah.

Jesus took three of his disciples to the top of a mountain to experience dead prophets now alive, and a voice from a cloud saying, "This is my beloved Son, listen to him." If you were one of the disciples, what impact would this experience have on you?

Firstly: I can would feel proud that Jesus  accompanied me to the mountain.

Socondly: Seeing the dead prophets would encourage me to stay and live in Jesus.

Thirdly: Once I had experienced and heard the voice of God , the impact would be to stregthen my faith in Jesus and that  truly He is the son of God.

What was Jesus trying to teach the disciples? Note: Jesus left twelve baskets full when he fed the 5000 people on the Israel side (Israel had 12 main regions or tribes).
We see Jesus first of all, giving thanx to the Father, immediately the bread and fish begin to multiply. Jesus was trying to send a message to the disciples that when we thank God for the little we have, we can recieve more than we want, and have something to keep, or give away. Ask, and it shall be given en to you, seek and you shall find, was the lesson of Jesus, in other words, God is always a provider even in times when it all seems impossible.
