If he had acted more diplomatically, I doubt if anyone would have taken any notice of him. Why did Jesus clear the temple in such a dramatic manner? Why did not he try to accomplish the same thing more diplomatically?

Why did Jesus choose to make His entry to Jerusalem in a humble manner, riding a donkey? Jesus chose to enter Jerusalem in a humble manner riding a donkey because he was silently looking forward to whatever was ahead of Him. Jesus also at that was secretly moarning for the people He was going to give His life for, but had not valued His works. Still, the scriptures had to be fulfilled, it was written that He would enter Jerusalem in that manner.

Jesus rode in such a humble way because he wanted to live among His people, to be their kind, he wanted to show an example and not be above everyone else.
