King Herod feared many things, do you have any of his fears?

King Herod had fear for his kingdom, he was right on the otherhand, it could happen to any king, when you hear that your kingdom is at stake, that another one has been born to take over. Hero did not understand the concept of Jesus, he thougt He was the usual king. Yes I have some fear in my life, but blessed be the name on God, because the fear I got cannot make me take someone`s life. Whenever I fear i pray.

King Herod held power to kill as desired, yet he himself feared many things. What did he fear? Do have have any of his fears?

He feared the fact that by killing a holy and righteous man, he was doing something wrong and maybe he wanted to be on John`s good side so as to be closer to God and to be righteous himself ''?''

Why did Jesus? penalty for sin need to include physical and emotional pain - why not just spiritual separation from God?

Because the penalty for sin is death and therefore he needed to die in order to save us and to connect us and God
