How does Jesus link intimacy to him with obedience to him? a New commandment? If your very best friend called at the door, you would ask him in. You would offer him a drink and maybe a meal. So when Jesus knocks at the door of your heart, is it not right and proper to let him in; to turn over your house and life to him?

If you had a one-on-one meal with Jesus, what would you discuss? I think that I would ask how I could be more like Him. Maybe we could talk about the state of this world, and all the evil there is in it.
