These sure are difficult questions to answer. God`s forgiveness is motivated by love as Jesus says. We all strive to glorify Him through our thoughts, words and deeds. It is only when we truly repent that we are forgiven. And it is only when we have that forgiveness that we are capable of the type of love that gives the glory to Him.

How does being forgiven increase one`s love for God?

We all know how much one feels after having paid a long standing debt. When you owe one an apology you are always in fear of that person, but once you pay, you just feel relieved. I think so it feels with God, when you get to know that you nolonger have to run away from his presence for fear of sin, then you grow closer to him, and the more you get closer to someone, I think you get to love him more.

How do Jesus` words make you feel? You may want to save your answer as Private

Humble, and frightened. I`ve done some very dark things in my life. They`ve left scars on my concience. But the scars on my soul have been healed. Why would Jesus want to firgive me? For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
