My Brief Summary of Jesus

Jesus was sent by God to be our Lord and Saviour. He performed many miracles, healing sick and raised Lazarus from the dead - amazing. He spoke in parables, which were hard for his disciples to understand at first. He spoke out against the Pharisees who were the rulers of the day, which made him unpopular with them. He was crucified on Good Friday, and rose again, according to scripture on Easter Sunday. He was seen by many people for up to 40 days after his resurrection. His short life was amazing, he taught love, peace and humility, somethings which are sadly lacking in today`s society.

What is the Kingdom of God

The Kingdom of God is there waiting to be claimed by anyone who accepts Jesus as their saviour. It`s not a place, it`s a state of being. It`s not something that can be put in words or explained or even understood. It can only be felt. And that feeling comes only through unquestioning faith.

Does Jesus believe lowly people are valuable? How valuable?

The thing I love so much about Jesus is that he doesn`t see anyone as lowly. Jesus sees no need to label anyone and I pray all the time for God`s help in changing me into the kind of person that can look at another and not feel the need to make some kind of judgement. Whatever your path through the world we all have an equal chance of spending eternity with God. Jesus put immeasurable value on everyone. We should all pray for the grace to do the same.
