Peter would have felt acceptance by Jesus that he could lead His sheep. The records on Peter shows him progressing from being an uncertain man concerned with his own life to a man to set up the church of Jesus Christ with strength obtained through his faith or love of Jesus. Jesus chose to speak to the disciples while they were doing their normal duties. Jesus wanted to show His relevence to their daily lives. I dont understand the meaning of your posting,are you blaming the people or God for todays financial strain? A quote I remember is that man shall destroy man not God shall destroy man God gives us life and all worldly things in life and allows us to make our own mistakes Its the greedy ones that destroy the financial bodys not God.
